Pleased To Meet You

John Wilson, once earning his Design Communications Bachelors of Fine Arts degree at Texas Tech in 1987 set out to become a professional musician. Eventually he became weary of a diet consisting only of raamen noodles and got a real job at a screen printing company. It was then he became hooked on the imprinted garments industry and later started his own printing company in February 1994. It was there he created a reputation for good design, high end prints, and dependability. Missing his original true love, (and getting too old to work in 113 degree heat) John morphed his business into a Design shop– offering art services for print, brand identity, web graphics, presentations, and of course: t-shirt silk screen printing.

Do You Have Any Questions?

Please give me a call and i will be happy to let you know just how i will be the last artist you will ever need.

What is your education?

In 1987 I received my bachelor’s in Design Communications and a minor in Illustration from Texas Tech University.

What is your experience?

1988-1993 I was the artist and shop manager for Color Graphix (later CT Graphix).  In 1994 I opened Rimshot Graphix, a small screen printing shop in Mesquite, TX.  Although i love screen printing, i love making art more.  So I shut the shop doors and morphed my business to be a full service graphic arts company for screen printers.

What services do you offer?

From a simple logo to a full product line.  From simple vectorization to simulated process on dark garments.  I also provide website design and large format printing.

What is your turnaround time?

Typically 2-3 days.  Rarely more, very often sooner.  The main emphasis is on providing you finished artwork when you need it.  I am NEVER late.

What do you bring to the table?

Besides my creativity and dependability, i believe my experience as a screen print shop manager and later owner gives me an edge.  The art i provide will not only make your customers smile, but will be production-ready.  The files i provide go straight to seps.

What do you charge?

Due to my experience and speed, flat rates are unfair for me and more importantly, my customers.  I charge $68.00 per hour with a quote up front if needed.

The very best thing about Rimshot is that i never have to think about art anymore. Now all my energies are spent on growing my business.

John's seps are always good to go. I can't think of one instance where the art slowed production.
